Job summary

Option Care Health is the nation's largest home infusion provider, delivering chemotherapy, IV therapies, and other medications to patients’ homes and clinics. This role supports warehouse functions, assembling and packaging deliveries, rotating inventory, and data entry of patient information to ensure timely, accurate patient deliveries to home, ambulatory infusion suites, or other sites of service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and driving record meeting company standards.
• Meets state requirements for Pharmacy Technician registration/licensure/certification.
• Texas: Registered Pharmacy Technician preferred; Technician in training required.
• Ohio: Pharmacy technicians must be registered.

Responsibilities

• Develops positive working rapport with courier service and understands delivery protocols and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintains assigned vehicle condition and informs supervisor of issues; plans alternate delivery in emergencies.
• Gathers and checks compounding material for clean room entry; compounds sterile preparations as needed.
• Labels compounded sterile preparations when state regulations permit; checks final product before pharmacist check.
• Picks, packs, and stocks supplies; coordinates with Pharmacy to ensure timely processing and delivery tickets.
• Ensures efficient territory management and cost-effective delivery methods; tracks lead times.
• Performs inventory counts and maintains safe warehouse environment.
• Assembles and prepares patient deliveries; receives and stocks incoming orders.
• Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of returned equipment; notifies shortages.
