Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Georgia seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support intravenous (IV) infusion preparation under supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will assist with sterile compounding, patient record maintenance, and coordination of delivery across multiple infusion centers.

The role requires experience in home or hospital infusion settings or outpatient admixture, strong aseptic technique, and solid communication skills to support patient care and pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of aseptic technique and sterile compounding procedures.
• Experience with medication preparation and labeling.
• Strong verbal and written communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Aseptically prepares infusion medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Enter medications and patient demographics into the information system and coordinate delivery.
• Place orders, restock, and assist with monthly cost stats and audits.
• Provide staffing support to other KP Pharmacies as needed.
• Rotate to all Infusion locations (Gwinnett, Cumberland, Southwood).
• Assist with inventory control and purchasing as needed.
• Support IV pharmacists with oncology and infusion orders and patient records.
• Support education for new staff and students and participate in quality assurance.
