You will ensure medication quality and safety through rigorous compounding and adherence to established guidelines, including USP-800. The ideal candidate has a certification from the Oregon Board of Pharmacy and will engage in duties related to medication preparation and management.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Vocational/Technical school or diploma program preferred.
• PTCB certification required within 9 months of hiring.
• Experience in hospital or outpatient infusion settings desired.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for accuracy and suitability.
• Compound medications using proper aseptic techniques.
• Assess identity and purity of medications.
• Manage medication inventories to monitor for expired drugs.
• Assist in training new employees as needed.
