Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in infusion or pharmacy prior authorization.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement rules.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Certification as Pharmacy Technician or active license.
• Strong Excel/Word/Outlook skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience with prior authorizations, insurance verification, and medication access workflows.
• Proficient in using electronic health records, pharmacy benefit tools, and prior authorization portals (e.g., CoverMyMeds).
• Collaborate with pharmacists, providers, and insurance companies to resolve access barriers and support patient adherence.
• Review infusion referrals and coordinate benefits investigation for commercial and government payers.
• Obtain and submit all necessary documentation for prior authorization requests; follow up to resolve delays.
