Job summary

BJC HealthCare in the greater St. Louis area seeks a compassionate Infusion Therapy Oncology Nurse to join our oncology team. The role involves administering infusions, port care, phlebotomy, and coordinating patient care in a satellite Siteman Cancer Center setting.

Full-time, 40 hours, Monday-Friday, no weekends or holidays required. Sign-on bonus eligible. Oncology experience preferred; strong communication and critical thinking essential.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or Associate's degree required.
• Current RN license required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience: <2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
• Safety-sensitive position; must be able to work in a constant state of alertness.
