Job summary

Piedmont Cancer Institute in Georgia is seeking a Clinical Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care for hematology and oncology patients in our clinic. Under physician and AP supervision, you will deliver treatment, education, and triage.

You will work in infusion and triage areas, travel occasionally to other locations, document interventions in the EHR, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. We offer competitive pay and benefits for a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in GA (state).
• BLS certification required.
• Oncology RN experience preferred but not required.
• ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy provider course certification preferred.
• Proficiency in central line care and venipuncture preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Infusion Suite and Triage Department as assigned.
• Demonstrate proficiency in venipuncture and vascular access management.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other medications per orders.
• Document all patient interventions in real time using PCI systems.
• Respond to emergencies in PCI offices per policies.
• Educate patients and care partners on plan of care and treatments.
