Job summary

THE DRIPBaR Edina is seeking a registered nurse to deliver IV and IM vitamin therapies in a day spa environment. You will assess patients, prepare infusions, monitor during treatment, and educate clients on wellness benefits.

The ideal candidate has strong IV skills, an active RN license, 2+ years infusion experience, and excellent interpersonal abilities. Weekend availability is required; familiarity with electronic health records is a plus. We offer flexible hours and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Registered Nurse.
• Very strong IV peripheral skills (90% first time stick rate).
• Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience; infusion therapy and patient assessment.
• BSL certification current.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
• Willing to work the weekend shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare IV & IM vitamins for administration with appropriate technique following USP 797 compliance.
• Performs venipuncture and placement of peripheral IVs.
• Monitor client while infusion is taking place; respond to changes as needed.
• Educates clients on benefits of IV Drips and IM ingredients.
• Documents therapy details in client charts using electronic health records.
• Promotes memberships and additional services based on client wellness goals.
• Maintain supply inventory by checking stock and expediting orders as needed.
• Clean and maintain infusion room and sterile hood.
• Be able to coordinate with medical director on standing orders when necessary.
• Participates in off-site promotional events and special projects.
• Be able to function in the heat of emergency and act according to protocol.
