Job summary

IVX Health in Lansdale, PA is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient infusion care team. This role supports day shifts on Tue, Thu, Fri with rotating Sat across Montgomeryville, Jenkintown, and Malvern infusion centers.

You will provide direct patient care, supervise treatment, perform assessments, and educate patients and families. A strong focus on HIPAA, EHR accuracy, and collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues is essential.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in good standing is required.
• RN license may be required by state regulations in addition to NP credential.
• Board certification in NP (AANP or ANCC) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and on-site/tele-supervision for infusions.
• Conduct patient assessments and document SOAP notes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment expectations and potential side effects.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation and accurate EHR entries.
• Collaborate with referring providers and cross-functional teams.
• Support operations, including chart prep and regulatory adherence.

What You Will Do

• Provide Direct Patient Care - Deliver on-site and virtual supervision while administering infusions and injections with precision.
• Conduct Patient Assessments - Perform evaluations, document SOAP notes, and monitor treatment responses.
• Educate and Support Patients - Guide patients and families through treatment expectations, potential side effects, and disease management.
• Ensure Compliance and Quality - Maintain accurate records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, review nursing documentation, and uphold HIPAA and OSHA standards.
• Optimize Clinical Workflows - Assist with chart preparation and treatment planning to streamline patient visits.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams - Work closely with referring providers and cross-functional teams to enhance care coordination.
• Support Operations and Training - Assist in inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence.
• Flexibility and Adaptability - Work at multiple facilities within a designated market as needed.
• Perform Additional Duties - Take on other responsibilities as assigned to support patient care and organizational objectives.

What We're Looking For

• Active and Unrestricted Licenses - Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and Registered Nurse (RN) license (if required by the state).
• Board Certification - AANP or ANCC certification required.
• Life Support Certifications - BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred.
• Clinical Experience - Background in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting is a plus.
• Ability to Treat a Diverse Patient Population - Must be able to care for both adults and pediatrics-Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred.
• Strong IV and Infusion Therapy Skills - Experience with specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency response protocols.
• Proficiency in Clinical Documentation - Experience with EHR systems and a strong understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional Communication & Collaboration - Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
