Job summary

Metro Infusion Center, affiliated with Metro Infectious Disease Consultants, seeks a licensed APRN for supervision and administration of infusion therapy at the Lafayette, IN clinic. Qualifications

• Current APRN license and certification.
• Experience in infusion therapy settings preferred.
• Chemo experience preferred but not required.
• Vaccinations up to date as required for immunocompromised patients.

Responsibilities

• Place and maintain peripheral IVs for infusion therapy with ongoing assessment.
• Prepare medication for IV administration as ordered.
• Administer IV therapy with an electronic pump and monitor alarms.
• Document infusion charting and patient communications in EMR.
• Respond to patient questions related to adverse effects within scope of practice.
