California Specialty Pharmacy, LLC is seeking an Infusion Nurse to perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications, and manage venous access devices in accordance with clinical guidelines and regulatory standards.

You will educate patients and caregivers, maintain infection control, and document care while collaborating with physicians and the care team to ensure safety and quality. A valid RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifikationen

• Current, active RN license in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification.
• CRNI or IGNC certification preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and Insurance.
• Submit to a background check.

Aufgaben

• Performs initial and ongoing assessments for each patient.
• Monitors and maintains Venous Access Device sites and systems.
• Administers ordered medications using MD orders and regulatory guidance.
• Reconstitute meds as needed to maintain stability.
• Educates patient and family on self-monitoring and pain management.
• Maintains aseptic practices and infection prevention and control procedures.
• Obtains physician orders and communicates with providers.
• Re-evaluates patient care needs and updates plans of care.
• Labels cannula, dressing, solution and meds per protocol.
• Provides education to patient and caregiver on treatment and ongoing care.
• Maintains accurate patient documentation.
• Participates in staff meetings and ongoing training.
