Job summary

Palmetto Infusion is seeking a Nurse Educator to lead company-wide nursing education, orientation, and competency evaluations. The role includes coordinating annual nursing competencies, infusion education, BLS certifications, and ongoing in-services.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with Saturdays as needed. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, maintains an active RN license, and has 3 years’ infusion/home/educator experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in applicable state with active license.
• 3 years of infusion/home or clinic nursing experience or nurse educator background.
• CRNI within 3 years of hire; BLS Instructor Certification.

Responsibilities

• Develops nurse orientation and annual education plans.
• conducts annual competency assessments for nurses.
• coordinates education for new drug therapies and equipment.
• provides ongoing education and in-services as needed.
• maintains HIPAA-compliant patient care standards.
