Job summary

CB Partners, LLC is seeking an experienced Infusion Nurse to join our specialty pharmacy team. The role delivers patient-centered infusion services in the home and other care settings, administering medications and monitoring patients throughout treatment.

You will educate patients and caregivers, coordinate with physicians and pharmacists, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements. Location: Overland Park, KS; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in state(s) where services are provided.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• 2+ years of nursing experience, preferably with infusion therapy, home health, specialty pharmacy, oncology, or similar setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong IV access and infusion therapy skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer intravenous, subcutaneous, and/or other specialty medications per physician orders and protocols.
• Provide infusion therapy in patients' homes, physician offices, or other care settings.
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after infusion therapy.
• Monitor patients for medication effectiveness, adverse reactions, and complications.
• Initiate and maintain IV access, including peripheral IVs and central venous access devices as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding medications, procedures, side effects, and home care.
• Provide training and support to patients and caregivers for safe administration and therapy management.
• Communicate changes in patient condition or adverse events to physicians and the clinical team.
• Coordinate care with pharmacists, prescribers, case managers, insurance representatives, and other health professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Follow all regulations, policies, nursing standards, and infection-control procedures.
• Handle, store, and dispose of medications and supplies properly.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Provide exceptional customer service as a trusted clinical resource.

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Infusion Nurse to join our specialty pharmacy team. This position will provide high-quality, patient-centered infusion services to patients receiving specialty medications in the home and/or alternative care settings.

The Infusion Nurse will be responsible for safely administering prescribed medications, monitoring patients throughout treatment, educating patients and caregivers, and collaborating closely with physicians, pharmacists, and the broader clinical team.

• Provide exceptional customer service while serving as a trusted clinical resource for patients and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state(s) where services are provided.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• 2+ years of nursing experience, preferably with experience in infusion therapy, home health, specialty pharmacy, oncology, or a similar clinical setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong IV access and infusion therapy skills.
• Experience with central venous access devices is preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and patient-education abilities.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel locally to patient homes and/or treatment locations, if required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, if applicable.
