Job summary

Curbside Infusion is seeking a dedicated Infusion Nurse for a full-time role serving two Texas sites: Frisco (2 days/week) and Irving (3 days/week). You will provide professional nursing care for IV treatments, determine venipuncture sites, and document observations in patient records.

The position requires current RN licensure and at least one year of infusion nursing experience. You will educate patients and families about treatments, monitor therapy, and ensure compliance with regulatory

Responsibilities

• Perform infusion therapy as directed by physician orders.
• Establish IV access per policy and procedure.

• Educate patients and/or caregivers on disease processes, medications, side effects/risks.
• Schedule follow-up appointment for next therapy.
• Notify the physician and other personnel of changes in patient condition.
• Update clinical records according to policy and procedures.
• Maintain professionalism with patient and staff.
• Adhere to Medicaid and Medicare regulations.
• Clinical research.

Job description

This is a Full-Time Infusion Nurse position working at two sites. One site in Frisco, TX 2 days a week, and another site in Irving, TX 3 days a week.

Job Summary:

Demonstrate proficient infusion skills. Provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in need of intravenous treatment. Administers intravenous therapeutic treatments as directed by a physician. Determines appropriate venipuncture and/or catheter site. Observes patients' IV treatment and records observations in patient medical records. Provides information to patients and families regarding intravenous treatment and procedures.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

• Be a licensed nurse, with a current license.
• Minimum of one year of infusion nursing experience.
• Work positively and favorably with patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities/essential functions:

The person in this position must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Perform the infusion therapy as directed by physician orders.

• Perform inventory count before and after clinic daily, communicate daily.
• Communicate supply needs prn.
• Adhere to safe nursing practice standards.
• Maintain professionalism with patient and client staff.
• Obtain satisfaction surveys from patients prn.
• Collect co-pays as required.
• Call no-show patients prn.
• Be knowledgeable about medications to be administered. Reference RxTool Kit.
• Mix medication per policy and procedure (never before patient arrival).
• Adhere to Medicaid and Medicare regulations.
