Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process and to evaluate the effectiveness of care from the team. You will coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, aligning with Mercy Service Standards and mission.

Ideal candidates graduate from an accredited RN program and hold an active RN license in the hiring state or a compact licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand and walk during shifts.
• May require BLS and other unit-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain accountability for assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.
