Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Basic familiarity with computers; ability to navigate web-based applications.
• MA, EMT, CNA, LNA certificate or diploma; or 5 months direct patient care experience in clinical/research settings.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and assist with check-in.
• Escort patients to the infusion area.
• Obtain and document weights and vital signs.
• Remove IVs as directed by the nursing team.
• Assist with patient transfers when needed.
• Communicate patient needs to nurses.
• Schedule appointments, diagnostics, and lab testing.
• Register patients and verify demographic/insurance information.
• Collect co-payments and support billing documentation.
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and pre-certifications.
• Prepare schedules, patient charts, and other documents.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional communication.
