Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Launch Equipment Systems Engineering Manager in Manhattan Beach, CA, to lead a 12-person team across domains. The role combines technical execution with functional responsibilities and interface work with customers and suppliers.

You will guide critical design reviews, shape priorities, and ensure disciplined requirements engineering while coordinating with multiple teams and leadership levels across the Sentinel program.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 8+ years experience or Master's degree and 6+ years experience.
• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance with ability to obtain SAP.
• 1+ year of experience developing requirements or verification using DOORS and/or Cameo.
• Minimum 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience.

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Command & Launch (C&L) Infrastructure Infrastructure Systems Engineer Launch Equipment Manager 2 in support of the Sentinel Program. This position is located in Manhattan Beach, CA. You will lead a team of approximately 12 systems engineers across multiple domains and disciplines. The successful candidate should be detailed oriented and be able to work collaboratively with multiple remote teams and disciplines.

• Organize and lead execution of multiple Critical Design Review events.

As a Section Manager you will be expected to spend roughly 20% of your effort on Functional Homeroom responsibilities with 80% of your efforts focused on a technical assignment as the Launch Equipment Systems Engineering Manager.

You Will Bring These Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in (STEM) and 8 years of experience or Master's degree and 6 years of experience
• Must have an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application with the ability to obtain SAP.
• 1+ year of experience developing requirements or verification using DOORS and/or Cameo
• Minimum 1 year of demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

These Qualifications Are Nice To Have

• 1+ year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
• Managing people experience preferred
• Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Active DoD Top Secret with SAP clearance ICBM Experience
• Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience
• Experience managing programs or subcontracts in an Earned Value framework – Control Account Manager certified
• Strong understanding and broad application of engineering systems
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities
• Demonstrated experience in making sound decisions in uncertain and difficult situations
• Functional management experience
• 3+ years of experience developing requirements or verification using DOORS and/or Cameo.

Primary Level Salary Range: $161,100.00 - $241,700.00

Position may offer relocation assistance.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80.
