Qualifications

• 10+ years of Infrastructure Architecture experience.
• Strong Azure Cloud + hybrid infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on data center and colocation architecture experience.
• Knowledge of VMware, compute/storage/networking, firewalls, load balancing, backup, and DR.
• Experience with IaC technologies (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation).

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Solution Architect to extend Enterprise Architecture (EA) and translate high-level infrastructure designs into detailed architecture and implementation guidance for hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design hybrid infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, enterprise data centers, and colocation facilities.
• Develop architecture for compute, storage, networking, virtualization, connectivity, and workload placement.
• Define high availability, resiliency, failover, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Guide engineering teams from architecture/design through implementation and production.
• Support SRE practices, including SLIs/SLOs, observability, monitoring, telemetry, and operational readiness.
• Drive infrastructure automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation).
• Support scalability, performance, capacity management, and infrastructure cost optimization.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Platform Engineering, SRE, and infrastructure teams to ensure architecture standards are followed.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of Infrastructure Architecture experience with recent Solution Architect / Infrastructure Architect experience.
• Strong Azure Cloud + hybrid infrastructure architecture experience.
• Recent hands-on Data Center and Colocation architecture experience — cloud-only profiles will not be considered.
• Strong experience with physical infrastructure: racks, power, cooling, cabling, circuits, cross-connects, cage builds, and capacity planning.
• Experience with data center migration/consolidation, including migration into or out of colocation facilities.
• Strong knowledge of VMware, compute, storage, SAN/NAS, networking, firewalls, load balancing, backup, and DR.
• Experience with infrastructure resiliency across multiple data center locations.
• Experience working with colo providers and facilities teams.
• Knowledge of SRE, observability, SLIs/SLOs, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or similar IaC technologies.
• Experience with architecture governance and Enterprise Architecture teams.
