Job summary

CBTS is seeking an Infrastructure Security Administrator to support and secure our on-premise enterprise infrastructure in Chicago. This contract role focuses on hardening Windows server environments, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and core services while improving security posture.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Windows Server administration, AD, group policy, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and a proven track record in vulnerability remediation and

Role: Infrastructure Security Administrator

Location: Chicago IL, Onsite

Duration: 6 months, with possible extensions

Pay rate: $50-60/hour W2, client does not allow C2C

The Infrastructure Security Administrator, with a security focus, will support, secure, and optimize our enterprise infrastructure. This project-based role focuses on securing and improving Windows server environments, Active Directory, virtualization platforms, and core infrastructure services, while driving security remediation and hardening initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience administering on-premises systems, implementing security best practices, remediating vulnerabilities, and maintaining secure and reliable IT operations.

Required skills:
