Job summary

Matlen Silver is seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager / End User Support Engineer on an 18-month contract to drive infrastructure provisioning, data center migrations, and security projects. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, leading meetings, and ensuring adherence to standards in a fast-paced environment with deadlines. Hybrid work arrangement: 3 onsite days in Pennington, NJ or Jersey City, NJ.

You must be local. 60–63 USD per hour on W2; 1099/C2C not available.

Qualifications

5+ years of work experience, including 3 years in Technical Project Management roles.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Self-motivated with strong work ethic.
System Administrator background preferred.
Strong background in networks, storage, hardware, data center.
Experience in supporting large enterprises.
Scrum background preferred.
Strong project and process leadership.

Responsibilities

Manage projects related to infrastructure provisioning, security projects, data center migrations, and End of Life Programs.
Lead meetings and communicate technical details related to projects.
Work in a fast paced environment whilst meeting deadlines.
Build trusted relationships with the business and technology teams.
Analyze and communicate capacity management related tasks.
Communicate standards and best practices to Lines of Businesses.
Work with System Administrator teams to help ensure servers standards are being met.
Coordinate in Linux virtual and physical builds, upgrades, patching, and support.
Background in clustering, disaster recovery, high availability.
Present, report, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint updates to stakeholders.
