Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects seeks a senior Cost Analyst to lead cost modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis for major capital programs onsite with clients in Atlanta. You’ll partner with project teams to drive cost control and data-driven decisions across scope changes and schedules.

You’ll use Cognos, Power BI, Maximo, and Power Plan to deliver accurate reports, strengthen cost engineering data standards, and support earned value forecasting in a dynamic, safety-focused

Qualifications

• Direct cost analysis experience on utility projects or large-scale programs (>$300M).
• Understanding of commercial agreements and contracting strategies.
• Forecasting cost with schedule impacts and integrating schedule into cost.
• Proficiency in Cognos, Power BI, Maximo, Power Plan, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cost models; support monthly PE process.
• Analyze cost and schedule impacts; present findings clearly.
• Monitor budgets and actuals; provide cost reports and trends.
• Coordinate with project teams for cost control reporting.
• Lead improvements to cost data standards; track monthly spend.
• Perform forensic spend and forecast analyses for budget adherence.
• Develop and maintain Issue/Risk Registers and cost QRAs.
• Use Cognos, Power BI, Maximo, Power Plan for analysis and data viz.
• Ensure documentation meets regulatory filings and document management.
• Demonstrate safety commitment through meetings and field observations.
