Job summary

Madison-Davis, LLC, a large global financial services organization, is seeking an Infrastructure Platform Engineer to join the Infrastructure Engineering and Cloud Enablement group. This hands-on role focuses on container orchestration, Linux engineering, automation, and Infrastructure as Code to modernize enterprise platforms.

You will support production container platforms, develop reusable automation, and work with cross-functional teams to improve scalability, reliability, and self-service

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering experience.
• Production experience supporting OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Understanding of container orchestration, operations, and security.
• Hands-on Linux/Unix engineering experience.
• Experience with Linux patching, hardening, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Practical Ansible or Ansible Automation Platform experience.
• Experience developing infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with Git and modern CI/CD processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple technology teams.
• Terraform experience.
• Azure DevOps experience.
• VMware exposure.
• Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure.
• Experience in a large regulated enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance enterprise OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.
• Build automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Develop Ansible playbooks, roles, workflows, and reusable automation components.
• Administer enterprise Linux/Unix environments, including patching, configuration, and hardening.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code and delivery pipelines.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules for infrastructure provisioning.
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, security, and application engineering teams.
• Help establish platform standards that improve scalability, reliability, and self‑service capabilities.

This engineer will help modernize enterprise infrastructure platforms with a focus on container orchestration, Linux engineering, automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
