Job summary

FanDuel Group is seeking an Infrastructure Engineering Director to own the foundation of our cloud and outpost-based infrastructure. You will set standards for reliability, cost governance, and operational discipline across AWS, Outposts, Kubernetes, networking, and provisioning.

This hands-on leadership role builds a scalable team, defines runbooks, DR testing, incident response, and collaborates with Platform Engineering and product teams to ensure our infrastructure supports rapid growth and

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure organizations.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes architecture, operations, and scaling.
• Strong hands-on understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure including Outposts.
• Experience defining and driving platform or infrastructure strategy across teams.
• Proven ability to establish operational discipline with runbooks and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Own disaster recovery strategy, RTO/RPO, testing, and readiness.
• Set standards for provisioning, observability, disaster recovery, and cost governance.
• Lead and scale infrastructure engineering teams with a culture of documentation and reliability.
• Manage vendor relationships, cloud costs, and capacity planning.
• Partner with engineering and product leadership to influence platform direction.
