Job summary

Meta is seeking an Infrastructure Planning Leader to own the medium-range and long-range capacity planning process end to end. The role coordinates across infrastructure engineering, product groups, and finance to translate AI roadmaps into a multi-year capacity plan for compute, power, and data centers.

The candidate will design the planning process, align stakeholders, educate teams on participation, and guide both demand and supply through execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• 15+ years of experience in capacity planning, supply chain planning, or demand planning.
• Experience designing and owning a recurring, multi-quarter planning process across multiple organizations.
• Experience with data center infrastructure planning, including power, capacity, or supply chain constraints.
• Experience presenting planning recommendations to executive-level audiences.
• Experience with long-range capacity planning for hyperscale, cloud, or large-scale data center infrastructure.
• Experience with capacity planning for AI or ML training and inference workloads.
• Experience with quantitative modeling, scenario planning, or optimization methods applied to capacity or supply decisions.

Job description

We are looking for an Infrastructure Planning Leader to own Meta's medium-range and long-range infrastructure capacity planning process end to end. In this role you will work across infrastructure engineering teams, product groups, and finance to translate product and AI roadmaps into a multi-year plan for compute, power, and data center capacity. You will design the planning process itself, build alignment on it across a large and technically diverse set of partner teams, educate those teams on how to participate, and guide both demand and supply organizations through its execution. This is a senior individual contributor role for a planning practitioner with depth across data center infrastructure, power, supply chain, and infrastructure demand.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 15+ years of experience in capacity planning, supply chain planning, or demand planning
• Experience designing and owning a recurring, multi-quarter planning process spanning multiple organizations
• Experience with data center infrastructure planning, including power, capacity, or supply chain constraints
• Experience presenting planning recommendations and trade-offs to executive-level audiences
• Experience with long-range capacity planning for hyperscale, cloud, or large-scale data center infrastructure
• Experience with capacity planning for AI or machine learning training and inference workloads
• Experience with quantitative modeling, scenario planning, or optimization methods applied to capacity or supply decisions
• Familiarity with data center power delivery, cooling, or site selection constraints in a hyperscale environment
• Experience partnering with finance organizations on capital planning or capital expenditure forecasting
• Experience with hardware supply chain planning, including supplier lead times, constraints, and procurement cycles
• Master's degree or PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics, or a relevant technical field
