Job summary

JLM Strategic Talent Partners seeks a seasoned Project Engineer to support civil construction projects across the US. You will plan, organize, and oversee project engineering and controls, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.

The role requires a proven track record in construction, strong communication, and the ability to supervise junior engineers on site. This is a hands-on, team-focused position with growth opportunities.

• Proven track record of project engineering and civil construction.

Responsibilities

• Support construction activities by planning, organizing and implementing project engineering & project controls tasks for successful execution.
• Provide supervision and on-the-job training for lower level engineers.
• Develop understanding of contract plans and specifications.
• Assist in implementing overall Quality Management system.
• Inspect field conditions, identify issues and apply corrective actions.
• Track material costs and quantities; create monthly cost/inventory reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements on projects.
