The role focuses on designing, deploying, and supporting Aruba enterprise wireless networks, with strong emphasis on troubleshooting across wireless, switching, routing, and authentication systems. The position requires expertise in 802.11 standards, RF principles, roaming, and wireless security, and is based in multiple technology hub offices with weekly in-office time.

Qualifications

• Experience and certifications in network infrastructure engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of industry experience in relevant roles; degree can be substituted with equivalent certifications and experience.

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer within PNC's ENS Wireless Network organization, you will be based in one of the following Technology Hub offices: Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Denver, CO, Phoenix, AZ, Birmingham, AL, Farmers Branch, TX. Weekly in office time is needed.

Needed experience and skills:

• Expertise in designing, deploying, and supporting Aruba enterprise wireless networks
• Strong troubleshooting skills spanning wireless, switching, routing, and authentication systems
• Deep understanding of 802.11 standards, RF principles, roaming behavior, and wireless security

ENS – Wireless Network is responsible for the design, implementation, and support for the entire wireless network within PNC. Role is required for wireless and business office network support, 3rd tier engineering, troubleshooting, vulnerability remediation, automation development and incident/change management

Job Description Provides expertise on platform engineering, while overseeing the team's effort and meeting customer needs. Uses technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain technology solutions. Develops software components and hardware for complex projects; aligns these with business strategies and objectives. Provides expertise on best practices, standards, engineering approaches and complex technical resolutions for processes. Places emphasis on quality improvement efforts; ensures that deliverables are secure, scalable and reliable through estimation and correction. Communicates with customers and integrates their needs with development, to meet business objectives.

Pay Transparency Base Salary: $110,110.00 – $204,490.00 Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
