Job summary

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, EKS, EC2, and S3.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience with high-throughput messaging platforms like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Solid routing and DNS design experience.
• Proficient in Grafana, logging frameworks, and alerting systems.

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Herndon, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, scaling, and maintaining resilient systems that support high-volume data alerting within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud & Container Orchestration: Design and maintain scalable, resilient infrastructure utilizing AWS (EKS, EC2, S3) and Kubernetes to manage containerized workloads seamlessly.
• Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Implement and maintain IaC using Terraform to automate provisioning, configuration, and environment deployments.
• Networking & Messaging Architecture: Design robust routing and DNS solutions alongside large-scale messaging platforms like RabbitMQ and Kafka to handle massive data streams and secure inter-service communication.
• Observability & Incident Response: Utilize monitoring tools such as Grafana alongside comprehensive logging and alerting frameworks to ensure proactive incident response and system health.
• DevOps & Collaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, enforce cloud security best practices, and drive overall operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• Orchestration & Cloud: Strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, AWS, EKS, EC2, and S3.
• Automation: Demonstrated proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Streaming & Messaging: Experience with high-throughput messaging platforms including RabbitMQ and Kafka.
