Job summary

CDW is seeking a hands-on Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing enterprise IT team supporting critical production infrastructure. You will own core infrastructure technologies across Windows, virtualization, networking, and security while modernizing enterprise systems.

Responsibilities include managing Windows Server and AD, VMware ESXi, Azure services, Fortinet and Meraki networking, and backup solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of infrastructure or systems engineering experience.
• Strong Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
• Hands-on VMware ESXi/vSphere administration.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Azure.
• Experience with Fortinet security products in an enterprise environment.
• Experience supporting Cisco Meraki networking.
• Familiarity with Rubrik or Veeam backup solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting across servers, virtualization, networking, and storage.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational standards.
• Partner with vendors and internal teams to ensure a stable, secure infrastructure.

Employment Type: Full-Time (Direct hire with a client of CDW's)

Compensation: $120,000–$130,000 base salary + 15% annual bonus

About the Role

We're seeking a hands‑on Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing enterprise IT team supporting critical production infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning core infrastructure technologies across Windows, virtualization, networking, and security while helping modernize enterprise systems.

You'll work across server infrastructure, virtualization, Microsoft technologies, backup solutions, and network security in a highly collaborative environment.
