Job summary

AEG is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to implement, secure, and maintain IT environments across the global enterprise. You will design, deploy, and enforce infrastructure standards, collaborate with teams, and support service delivery and transformation initiatives.

The role requires strong experience in cloud and on‑prem infrastructure, security controls, and scripting with PowerShell, Python, and C#. You will ensure compliance and provide senior technical mentorship within the Global

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4–6 years IT security solution implementation experience.
• Experience integrating cloud services with on‑premise technologies (Microsoft and SaaS).
• Experience with infrastructure automation via code/scripts (PowerShell, Python, C#).
• Experience designing security architectures in cloud and on‑prem environments.

Job Summary

The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for implementing, securing and maintaining AEG's Information Technology (IT) and is responsible for ensuring the secure design of all environments across the AEG global enterprise. The Infrastructure Engineer will work closely with various team members to develop, deploy and implement infrastructure standards across multiple applications, ensuring, best practices, and operational efficiencies. This role work closely with other team members on projects, operational matters, overall service delivery and service transformation.

Essential Functions

• Work to develop Office 365, VMware and other infrastructure tool configuration across the enterprise.
• Develop architecture standards, designs and principles.
• Document infrastructure designs and procedures to ensure compliance standards are met.
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support through root‑cause analysis, troubleshooting and collaboration across cross functional teams or vendors.
• Assist with improving Global Technology customer support by mentoring and cross training others as needed.
• Support and comply with all Cyber Security, Incident Responses, Compliance and Governance initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree (4-year) Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical area.
• 4‑6 years IT security solution implementation experience.
• Experience with the integration of cloud services with on‑premise technologies from Microsoft and other SaaS providers.
• Experience with Infrastructure automation through a working understanding of code and script such as: PowerShell, Python, C#. Experience in Defender for 365 product and features Security.
• Experience designing and/or implemented security architectures in cloud (Entra/Office 365) environments, and solutioned on‑prem architectures and operating models.
• Experience in Entra IAM solutions. Experience with Office 365 global administration, architecture and development.
• Experience in writing high standard infrastructure configuration documentation.
• Solid knowledge of security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
• In‑depth understanding of security protocols, including but not limited to SSL/TLS, IPSec, SSH, and various encryption standards.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, service, and technical challenges and provide solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non‑technical audience.
• Foundational knowledge of the ITIL framework, and IT Service Management.
• Understanding of networking and core Internet Protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and routing in distributed networks.
• Strong knowledge on API designs and use to integrate services.
• Understanding of security and compliance frameworks, standards and implementation in public cloud environments.
• A thorough understanding of tools, policies and standards related to security systems and experience in executing incident response process and procedures.
• Knowledge of Defender for Office 365 security tools
• Project management skills with ability to influence change.
• Excellent troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis capabilities.

Pay Scale

$123,000.00 - $136,000.00

Bonus

This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
