Wipro Limited in Dallas, Texas seeks an Infrastructure Domain Architect L1(CONTRACT) to lead engineering across compute, storage, network, and databases. You will translate designs into deployable infrastructure and craft detailed technical designs for build, deployment, and validation.

The role requires 5+ years in infrastructure engineering, hands-on AWS and Kubernetes experience, and collaboration with application teams to ensure scalable, secure platforms.

Job Description

Senior Cross Functional Systems Engineer

The individual should be proficient in Engineering solutions across Compute, Storage, Network, Database Management Systems, Identity & Access Management (including Secrets Mgmt. and PKI), Amazon Web Services & Kubernetes based compute.

Experience and Skills to include:

• Hypervisor / OS / Host based firewall / Application Stack / Network / Identity & Access Management
• EC2, OpenShift or EKS (Kubernetes) / SDN Networking / Identity Federation / Multi-Region access and Disaster Recovery / F5 GTM
• AWS Landing Zone fundamentals including: Account structure, VPC, Security Groups, Cloud WAN, Private Link & VPC Endpoint Connectors, EBS/EFS/FSx/S3, NLB
• Solid understanding and experience in Database Services delivery & availability (AWS RDS, AWS Aurora Global)
• Shared Service Application Integration to products such as
• Apigee (API Gateway)
• PING (reverse proxy)
• Redis (Database/Caching)
• Confluent Kafka (streaming)
• IBM MQ (message queue)
• Hashi Corp Vault (secrets management)
• Snowflake (database access)

Principal Responsibilities:

1. Working with Application Developers and Application Architects to translate Logical Application Designs into Infrastructure Aligned Deployments.
2. Create Detailed Technical Designs (Diagram and Bill of Materials) for use by Engineering teams in build/deployment; and as artifacts for post deployment testing and validation.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in an infrastructure engineering discipline
• At least 2 Years experience in cross functional engineering (multi-discipline: compute + storage + network + database management systems + shared services integration + AWS Platform)

Mandatory Skills: Cloud Infra ReArchitecting.Experience: 5-8 Years.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
