Job summary

MaintainX is seeking an experienced DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and evolve our AWS-based platform as code using Terraform. You will create CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, manage multi-region Kubernetes clusters, and maintain Helm charts and deployment workflows for reliable releases.

You will strengthen observability, security, and policy-as-code, collaborate with product teams to support infrastructure needs, and enable developers and agents to deploy services

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, cloud infra, or software engineering.
• Experience with large-scale cloud deployments and automation.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

The Team and Mission

You'd be joining our Infrastructure team within the Platform Engineering division.

We're building an AI-native platform for our internal developers, over 150 of them, guided by a single question: does this shorten the time from idea to value, for the teams building on our platform and for the customers they ultimately serve?

The smooth path is the safe, fast path, because the platform makes it the default. We build the route that maximizes AI acceleration.

What You'll Do:

Design, build, and evolve our cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS) as code, using Terraform to keep every environment reproducible and legible to both engineers and agents

Build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) with guardrails that make agentic releases safe by default

Manage and scale multi-region Kubernetes clusters

Maintain and evolve Helm charts and deployment workflows as reusable

Strengthen observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting, feeding signal back into AI-assisted remediation and define clear alert ownership

Harden infrastructure security, image scanning, policy-as-code, network segmentation, and firewall configuration

Partner closely with product engineering teams to support their infrastructure needs

Enable developers and agents to deploy and manage services independently

Participate in the on-call rotation

About You:

5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or software engineering

AI-forward: you hold everything you build to an AI-native standard

Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP experience transfers well)

Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and managing deployments

Proficient with Kubernetes in production environments

Experience with Docker and containerized applications

Experience with observability tools, including monitoring, logging, and alerting systems

Strong collaboration skills and the ability to support engineering teams

A strong communicator who can explain platform complexity and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders

Expert-level English, spoken and written.
