Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned infrastructure program manager in the United States to lead multi-site deployments and ensure design standards and operational functionality across the portfolio.

You will drive end-to-end project delivery, oversee construction and permitting, and collaborate with engineers and contractors on expansion plans. Strong financial acumen and PM/CPM knowledge are essential, with PE or EIT preferred and travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in technical EV charging, renewables, data center, or physical infrastructure development.
  • Bachelor Degree in STEM or quantitative field such as Economics.
  • Ability to run charging analyses, review architectural/civil drawings, and electrical diagrams.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and Python is a strong plus.
  • Experience in large-scale infrastructure project management and multi-site deployments.
  • Strong financial acumen: budget creation, forecasting, CapEx/OpEx, and TCO analysis.
  • PM and CPM scheduling knowledge.
  • Familiarity with energy markets, utility processes, and power infrastructure development.
  • Excellent executive communication skills with senior leaders.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a decentralized organization.
  • PE or EIT preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

  • Ensure adherence to the infrastructure capital and operating budget (CapEx/OpEx).
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects across the portfolio.
  • Establish and maintain efficient design standards for site design, layouts, and operational functionality.
  • Drive decision making, transparency, and accountability across stakeholders.
  • Oversee construction execution and contractor performance.
  • Manage and mitigate risks across permitting, zoning, and municipal approvals.
  • Manage multi-site deployment across markets, tracking progress and mitigating delivery risks.
  • Nurture relationships and strategic partnerships with engineers, consultants, and contractors.
  • Identify interim and future infrastructure needs to match expansion plans.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical EV charging, renewables, data center, or other physical infrastructure development role.

  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with budget creation, forecasting, CapEx/OpEx management, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis.
  • Mastery of project management and project scheduling concepts, including Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule development and implementation.
  • Familiarity with foundational concepts of energy markets, utility processes, and power infrastructure development.
  • Exceptional executive communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical and financial information clearly to senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and operate strategically in a decentralized organization.
  • PE or EIT preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
