Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to help lead the cloud platform, architect solutions, enable development teams, and drive modernization. Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure engineering.
  • Experience with Kubernetes including architecture, deployment, operations, and monitoring.
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining Linux server systems in the Cloud.
  • Experience with automation tools and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Knowledge of AWS services and how to integrate them with Kubernetes.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience with cloud engineering in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date.

As a senior engineer, you'll be a cornerstone of our cloud platform team, architecting solutions, enabling development teams, and driving the adoption of modern infrastructure practices across a complex, multitenant environment. Your work will directly support the delivery of secure, reliable, and scalable capabilities for the IC.

What You'll Work On:

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
