Job description

About the Role

You’ve never been satisfied with "good enough." You want to make an impact, not just manage projects, but change how the world gets built. At Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, you’ll help develop and deliver the factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure that keep communities moving – and do it smarter, safer, and more sustainably.

You’ll work alongside senior project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists to transform how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and direction for construction projects, ensuring compliance with all EEO policies throughout the project life cycle and providing equitable leadership opportunities for all team members.
  • Provide ongoing support to staff during all phases of a project – pre‑design, procurement, construction, and post‑construction – overseeing cost, schedule, quality, and document control in line with organizational policies and industry standards.
  • Oversight of all project activities on construction or environmental sites, ensuring full compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements, including PPE usage.
  • Maintain clear and regular communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders through emails, meetings, and reports.
  • Manage planning, budgeting, and scheduling of project activities to meet established deadlines while staying within approved budgets.
  • Administer contracts for design and construction firms, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and acting as owner’s representative to address changes or issues promptly.
  • Oversee quality control processes during construction and abatement phases, ensuring projects meet contract specifications, relevant regulations, and best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular status updates, managing expectations, and exploring opportunities for repeat business.
  • Stay informed about advancements in construction technologies, integrating new methodologies and best practices into project management.
  • Supervise and mentor project managers, construction managers, and other staff, promoting diversity in recruitment and retention practices.
  • Assign and delegate tasks to project staff, ensuring effective contribution, monitoring workload distribution, and supporting high performance across all stages of project execution.
  • Work onsite at a client location; the role requires some in-person time for collaboration and relationship building.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience providing project/program management services.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience managing the full construction project life cycle, including pre‑construction design phases and oversight of constructability reviews.
