Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking an Infrastructure Automation Engineering Manager to lead a team delivering production-grade infrastructure automation in a regulated financial services setting.

The manager will balance team health with delivery reliability, staying close to design reviews and unblock engineers while guiding cross-functional collaboration across on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience including team leadership or supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manages and directs a software engineering team, overseeing day-to-day operations and delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions.
• Plans, prioritizes, and allocates resources to meet short-term goals and project deadlines within software engineering.
• Develops and enforces software engineering standards, governance, and best practices to maintain code quality and compliance.
• Collaborates with architecture, analytics, and security to deliver integrated technology solutions.
• Oversees design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications meeting business needs.
• Mentors and coaches team members to enhance technical skills and career growth.
• Reviews and approves technical designs, code, and documentation to ensure adherence to standards.
• Identifies and mitigates risks related to software development and delivery.
