Job summary

Tapestry is seeking a senior infrastructure professional to redesign and accelerate automation delivery at scale. You will own multi‑year automation roadmaps, contribute to DevSecOps practices, and drive configuration management and CI/CD across AWS, Azure, and Google cloud environments.

Join a distributed team to partner on pipelines, scripting, and documentation, ensuring secure, reliable infrastructure delivery with open source tooling and modern automation best practices.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on IT Infrastructure experience with at least 3‑4 years in Ansible, Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Demonstrate professional competence in Cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Google).
  • Hands-on experience with Python and manipulating JSON.
  • Expertise in implementing a Jenkins based CI/CD pipeline.
  • Hands-on expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, ECS, EKS).
  • Bash shell scripting and Linux/Windows administration.
  • Knowledge of Windows OS and Active Directory concepts.
  • Familiarity with networking, VMware, Storage, and cloud security (IAM, VPCs).
  • Understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and service delivery models.

  • Truly be instrumental in realizing the multi-year Infrastructure Automation roadmap & DevSecOps strategy.
  • Investigate and incubate infrastructure automation opportunities.
  • Own delivery of infrastructure automation features.
  • Develop, test and deploy configurations in multiple environments using automated pipelines.
  • Work in agile teams, engage in ceremonies, create and update documentation.
  • Write quality code to get stuff done, deliver features at speed.
  • Develop, maintain and support system standards through configuration management, automation templates and scripting, and version control.

What You’ll Bring

  • Ability to produce high‑quality technical documentation
  • Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work
  • Learning mindset — quickly grasp, develop & integrate various technologies via code
  • Excellent flowcharting skills — document as‑is/to‑be process flows
  • Ability to document a problem, collect data to support and alternatives to solve
  • Be opinionated, but also flexible when presented with new evidence or data
  • Stay current with the latest cloud and configuration management technologies
  • Comfortable working in an open‑source setting
