Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Infrastructure Automation Engineer to design, implement, and automate repeatable OS images and deployment pipelines. You will work on secure, mission-focused environments and contribute to containerization efforts across teams.

The role requires 1+ years in software dev, scripting, version control, and system automation; TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8570 IAT II readiness are a plus. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with software development teams.
• 1+ years of scripting or programming (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• 1+ years of experience with version control systems.
• Experience with system automation tooling and containerization.
• Experience with module development and programming fundamentals.
• Current TS/SCI clearance; ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT II (Security+) within 30 days.

Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Performs implementation of repeatable images, regular problem solving, maintenance and support for configuration and security compliant develop ment to modernize systems. Applies specific functional knowledge and working and general industry knowledge. Develop s or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance, and reviews or guides activities of junior employees. Concentrates on automating the entire lifecycle of operating system assets and platforms to build complete solutions.

You Have:

• 1+ years of experience working on sof tware develop ment teams
• 1+ years of experience with scripting or programming, including Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• 1+ years of experience with version control systems
• Experience with system automation via PowerShell, Ansible, or Bash
• Experience with application containerization
• Experience with module develop ment
• Knowledge of programming fundamentals, concepts, and language mechanics
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT II Certification , including Security+, within 30 days of start date

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Containers, including Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher
• Experience with AWS or Azure Cloud
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
