NTT DATA seeks an experienced Infrastructure Architect (FTE / Hybrid) to join the Concord, California team. The role focuses on leading architecture for GenAI and agentic AI platforms, spanning multi-cloud environments and highly available production systems.

You will influence roadmaps, guide cross-functional initiatives, and ensure robust observability and governance. The position offers hybrid work options with competitive compensation ranging from a base of $121,000 to $181,500 annually,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering, infrastructure and architecture experience.
• 5+ years designing large-scale cloud-native platforms.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of Generative AI, RAG architectures and AI/ML platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical direction for Enterprise GenAI Platform and Agentic AI Platform.
• Define roadmaps and influence cross-functional initiatives.
• Design and drive multi-cloud architecture across OpenShift AI, GCP Vertex AI, Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock and other providers.
• Ensure capacity planning, platform scalability, resiliency and high availability.

• Observability and AI Operations

Multi-Cloud AI Platform

Design and drive architecture across:

• OpenShift AI / RHOAI
• GCP Vertex AI
• Gemini Models
• Azure AI Foundry
• AWS Bedrock
• Anthropic Claude
• OpenAI

Platform Scalability & Resiliency

Lead initiatives involving:

• Capacity planning
• GPU platform strategy
• NVIDIA Super POD architecture
• Multi-region resiliency
• Cloud DR strategy
• Active-active platform architectures
• High availability and disaster recovery

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering, Infrastructure and architecture experience.
• 5+ years designing large-scale cloud-native platforms.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $121,000.00 - $181,500.00. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
