Job Summary

B&A is seeking an Infrastructure Application and Database SME - Microsoft SQL to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Enterprise Database Infrastructure Support Services. • Anticipated Start Date: December 2026
• Period of Performance: 1 Base + 1 Option Year

Location

• Remote

Note: The primary place of performance will be at the contractor's place of performance and/or Off-Site. Personnel shall be available to periodically support meetings at one of the following DLA sites: Dayton, OH; Columbus, OH; Tracy, CA; New Cumberland, PA; Richmond, VA; Battle Creek, MI; or Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft SQL database architecture, implementation, tuning, security, upgrades, and migrations.
• Manage SQL IaaS/PaaS/Managed Instances, Windows Failover Clustering, Always On Availability Groups, STIGs/IAVAs and team mentorship.

Education and Experience

• Ten years of database administration and infrastructure management focused on Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience supporting DoD or Federal enterprise Microsoft SQL database environments.
• Demonstrated SQL technical leadership and enterprise SQL high availability, security and cloud platform experience.

Required Certifications

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II.
• One of the following CE: MCSA SQL 2016 DBA or Microsoft Azure DBAA or higher
