Job summary

F2 is hiring a hands-on Infrastructure Tech Lead to build and scale cloud infrastructure powering its AI-driven enterprise analytics platform. You will architect, deploy, and operate AWS-based systems and AI workloads, collaborating with product, backend, and enterprise customers.

You will own the infrastructure roadmap, drive secure multi-tenant design, and mentor engineers toward reliable, observable, cost-efficient solutions in a hybrid San Francisco environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building and scaling mission-critical cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP.
• Experience architecting platforms from the ground up.
• Solid with container orchestration and service networking.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on platform building: architect and implement foundational cloud infrastructure from scratch; write IaC and ship production systems.
• Own the infrastructure architecture: define the technical vision and multi-year roadmap for the AWS-based platform.
• Run durable, AI-heavy workloads: operate workflow orchestration, streaming pipelines, vector search, LLM serving with latency/cost balance.
• Design for security and compliance: SOC 2, multi-tenant isolation, secrets management, audit logging.
• Establish operational excellence: IaC standards, deployment pipelines, incident response, SLOs, on-call practices.
• Cross-functional collaboration: translate data residency, uptime guarantees into pragmatic infrastructure solutions.
