Job summary

TOOGANN TECHNOLOGIES seeks a Software Engineer to lead infotainment software development for head unit platforms, emphasizing C.A.S.E. principles and quality across multiple models.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration, requirements development, testing, documentation, and strategic planning for future infotainment features such as Bluetooth, CarPlay/Android Auto, and voice recognition.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with a variety of people and job functions.
• Proficient with collaboration tools (Confluence, SharePoint).
• Proficient PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc).
• Experience and interest in Software Development (Java, C, C++, Android).
• Attention to detail and high personal standards for performance.
• Basic project management to determine timelines.
• Self-motivated to maintain test schedules.

Responsibilities

• Learn methods to direct Honda-selected software integration partner suppliers to design and manage software maturation.
• Engage in Infotainment Software Testing, developing requirements for system components and validating vehicle configurations.
• Write clear reports, presentations and technical documents documenting development activities.
• Build knowledge to analyze and interpret test results, predict performance and provide data.
• Develop and issue specification requirements for system components and interfaces.
• Communicate development schedule and status of component functions across departments.
• Research and influence future infotainment system architecture and features.
