Job summary

California State University, Chico is seeking an Information Security Risk Analyst to provide governance, risk and compliance (GRC) reporting and oversight for campus systems, data repositories, and critical vendors. The role also manages GRC tools and conducts risk assessments, while training end users in state- and locally mandated cyber security directives.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with at least two years of relevant experience; preferred qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; education/experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
• Two years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with information security governance, risk and compliance preferred.
• Familiarity with PCI-DSS, GLBA, HIPAA, and FERPA desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide governance, risk and compliance (GRC) reporting and oversight for campus systems and vendors.
• Manage GRC tools, software, risk assessments, and user training.
• Serve as point of contact for information security governance and compliance issues.
• Support ongoing cyber risk management assessment and reporting for IT risk.
