Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma with 6 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with information security policies, standards, regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and laws.
• Develop, maintain, and promote information security policies, standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Manage the Vendor Risk Management (VRM) program, including vendor security reviews and assessments.
• Collaborate with colleges and departments to evaluate security and compliance risks and advise corrective actions.
• Conduct risk assessments, compliance reviews, vulnerability analyses, and security evaluations of solutions.
• Analyze findings and communicate recommendations to stakeholders to improve security posture.
• Track remediation and verify implementation of patches and configurations.
• Monitor vulnerability scans, assessments, and system configurations to identify risks.
• Coordinate mitigation efforts across technical and business teams.
• Use automated and manual techniques to identify and evaluate vulnerabilities.
• Research emerging threats and best practices to strengthen the security program.
• Conduct compliance activities and security reviews to meet standards.
• Promote a culture of security awareness and excellent customer service.
