Job summary

Ayko Technology is seeking a proactive security professional in Brazil to join our cybersecurity team. The role focuses on monitoring, detection, analysis, and incident handling across SIEM/EDR/NDR technologies, with hands-on work in Windows, Linux, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities include SOC operations, containment, and post-incident hardening, plus documentation, playbooks, and governance alignment with compliance.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science or related areas.
• Knowledge of security principles (confidentiality, integrity, availability).
• Knowledge of SIEM, EDR and NDR solutions.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems and security tools.
• Basic understanding of vulnerability analysis and risk management.
• Ability to interpret system logs and events.
• Understanding of network security principles (authentication, authorization and encryption).
• Desirable: completed higher education in tech areas and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and detection: Continuous monitoring of security events (SIEM, EDR, XDR, firewalls) to identify suspicious behavior and IoCs.
• Analysis and prioritization: Triage, correlation and classification of security alerts with a focus on criticality.
• SOC operations: Support for the routine of the Security Operations Center, collaborating with analysts, infra and development.
• Incident handling: Acting in incident response, root cause investigation, and compliance with SLAs and playbooks.
• Containment and hardening: Support in post-incident response phases, implementation of improvement measures for servers, networks and cloud.
• Documentation and reports: Preparation of technical reports, playbooks, runbooks and structured incident records.
• Governance and alignment: Participation in technical meetings, setting priorities, planning improvements and interfacing with compliance.
• Systems administration: Management of network security (firewalls, antivirus) and support for the Microsoft 365 platform (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
