Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS, cybersecurity, info systems or related STEM field.
• 2+ years in information security, vulnerability management, or security operations.
• Hands-on with Nessus or Qualys for scanning and results analysis.
• Knowledge of FedRAMP audit processes and regulatory compliance.
• Advanced Excel data manipulation and reporting for security metrics.
• Ability to support audits with documentation and remediation tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability assessments across Appian's infrastructure, prioritizing risks by severity and business impact.
• Work with Engineering to drive remediation meeting SLAs and regulatory requirements including FedRAMP.
• Prepare audit evidence and coordinate responses for FedRAMP and other frameworks.
• Analyze security data trends using Excel and security platforms to inform leadership on risk posture.
• Collaborate with Product, Cloud Operations, and Compliance to reduce enterprise attack surface.
