Job summary

The University of Arizona's University Information Technology Services (UITS) invites applications for the Information Security Analyst - IRO in Tucson.

The role provides expertise in risk management of software contracts managed by UITS, reviewing contracts to ensure data security obligations are met before finalization, and working with the Information Security Office to align governance across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Experience in information security analysis and risk policies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review UITS-managed software contracts for data security policy alignment.
• Provide recommendations for software owners to mitigate security risks.
• Construct, design, or perform daily reviews and monitor reports related to security attacks.
• Advise and collaborate with institutional stakeholders to align initiatives and improve security controls.
• Coordinate with campus partners to improve preventative measures and response processes.
• Collaborate with ISO to ensure data security policy updates.
