Job description

This is a public notice flyer for a grade (GS) 13-14 IT Specialist (Information Security) with NSMA. This opportunity supports the Information Systems and Technology (ISaT) Directorate, and is located in the Dallas, TX area.

Responsibilities

• You will provide complex management, incident response, network security auditing, and data center management.
• You will serve as the principal staff advisor to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) on all matters relating to vulnerabilities and threats.
• You will serve as Cyber Operations/Management Member and Service as a SME, providing guidance for the development of short- and long-term plans and policies as it relates to Computer Network Defense (CND).
• You will implement security controls aligned with NIST or federal cybersecurity frameworks, and supporting system ATO or RMF processes.
• You will serve as the customer focal point for the resolution of customer requirements and issues through the formation of liaison support with the Service Desk Tier I and Tier II staff.
• You will provide specific guidance to infrastructure personnel exposures and remediation requirements as it relates to Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM).
• You will perform other duties as assigned.
