Job summary

Drip Depot Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our in-house systems for the storefront, warehouse, and business operations. This hands-on role blends architecture ownership with people management, reporting to the CTO in a small, growth-focused team.

You will drive tech strategy, mentor a small team, enforce security standards, and build robust apps using Perl/Mojolicious, PostgREST, and PostgreSQL in a full-stack context.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience building production web apps.
• 3+ years of management or leadership experience.
• Strong JavaScript/jQuery skills with modern UI frameworks.
• Backend experience in any language; Perl knowledge a plus.
• Relational databases, SQL, and API integration experience.
• Experience with REST/JSON and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and drive architecture decisions.
• Manage and mentor a small tech team with code reviews.
• Own features end-to-end from database to UI, including security.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, deployments, backups, and uptime.

Our systems run our storefront, our warehouse, and our business, and they're designed exactly the way we want them. We're looking for an experienced IT Manager who combines deep technical expertise with proven people management skills to help lead that effort.This is a reporting-to-the-CTO, hands-on role: roughly 90% technical work and 10% team management.
