Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Information Technology (IT) Systems Engineer to join our team in the Bethesda, Maryland area. You will document and shape the client’s IT enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with the client’s vision for interoperability across organizations.

Key qualifications include an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and extensive experience as a cloud provider Systems Engineer, plus deep knowledge of TOGAF/DoDAF/UAF frameworks and M365 deployment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Masters with 15–20 years of relevant experience or Doctorate with 13–16 years.
• Proven experience as a cloud provider Systems Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF, UAF).
• Experience migrating systems to an IC Cloud and integrating systems in cloud environments.
• Expertise deploying and configuring M365 and similar products.

Job Summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced, results oriented Information Technology (IT) Systems Engineer to join our team in the Bethesda, Maryland area. You will play a critical role in documenting and shaping our client's IT enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with the client’s vision of driving interoperability across organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop an IT enterprise architecture that provides client stakeholders awareness of critical capabilities, dependencies, and mission critical impacts and risks. This includes developing the:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content providers, content consumers, developers, engineers, and business analysts.
• Ability to work in small teams or independently.
• Experience supporting senior government civilians.
• Ability to gather requirements from various stakeholders and develop an integrated solution.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ability to provide insight into M365 deployment and configuration variables, and the impact of individual parameters both to an individual entity and to enterprise integration.

Basic Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
• Typically requires Masters with 15 – 20 years of prior relevant experience or Doctorate with 13 – 16 years of prior relevant experience.
• Proven experience as a cloud provider Systems Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., UAF, TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF).
• Familiarity with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Model-Based Systems Engineering.
• Experience migrating systems to an IC Cloud.
• Experience integrating systems and tools in a cloud environment.
• Expertise in deploying and configuring M365 and similar providers’ products.
• In depth understanding of configuration variables and the impacts of changing specific variable settings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience working with or in the Intelligence Community (IC).
• Experience with M365 and other enterprise networks, providers and tools.
• Ability to understand and convey to others the impacts of changing configuration variables both on the individual entity systems and as it pertains to the interoperability of those systems with other entities.

Pay Range

Pay Range: Pay Range $154,050.00 - $278,475.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
