Qualifications

Role Overview

As a Qualcomm Information Technology Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to push the boundaries of what exists and help establish the new standards for tomorrow. You will assist and participate in the planning, design, and implementation of technology solutions that support the decision‑making needs of key stakeholders or business partners.

This internship supports multiple technical tracks, including:

• Data Analyst
• System Analyst
• Project Management

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field
• Must be available for 11–14 weeks during Summer 2027 (May–September)
• Expected graduation date of November 2027 or later
• Strong communication skills, organized, adaptive, team player and collaborator, self‑starter

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates actively pursuing a degree with an anticipated graduation between November 2027 and June 2028

Track 1: Data Analyst

• Experience in ML, predictive modeling, and creating test plans
• Design & analytical skills: test execution and results
• Root cause analysis for 2G–5G
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Strong knowledge of statistics, optimization, and machine learning algorithms
• Programming and visualization tools such as Python, R, and Tableau

Track 2: System Analyst

• Experience in troubleshooting and analysis of production systems or applications
• System specification creation and review
• Ability to conduct QA testing

Track 3: Project Management

• Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
• Exposure to PMP or Scrum Master practices
• Experience with Tableau for status reporting and risk management

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits

$17.00 - $98.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales‑incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
