Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a college or university program for Information Technology or a related program.
  • Experience with the following technologies: Windows 10 & 11 OS, Office 365, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, TCP/IP, iPhone/iPad and Android support.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user technical support and troubleshoot issues.
  • Assist with hardware/software maintenance and inventory.
  • Support IT projects and basic network/security tasks onsite.
  • Follow IT SOPs and security policies.

About Us

We are a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP); building automation; and industrial piping contractor. Our team offers a variety of MEP and process piping services, including design-build engineering for new construction and renovation, installation and specialty construction, maintenance, and air balancing, start-up, and energy efficiency services.

Job Summary

DeBra-Kuempel is seeking to fill an IT Support Specialist Co-Op position. This rolesupports the organization's technology infrastructure by providing end-user technical support, maintaining hardware and software systems, and assisting with network and security administration. This role works closely with the IT team to support daily operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with company IT standards while gaining hands-on experience in information technology.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage network security asestablishedby EMCOR policy.
  • Assistin computer, software, printer, & mobile device inventory, setup, and maintenance
  • Provide antivirus and patch management and monitoring for computer operating systems.
  • Provide basic Active Directory Users & Computers Support
  • Provide end user help desk support.
  • Work onsite to perform IT projects and upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with EMCOR IT SOPs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager of IT

Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a college or university program for Information Technology or a related program
  • Experience with the following technologies:
    • Microsoft Windows 10 & 11 Operating Systems Support
    • Microsoft Office 365
    • Microsoft Active Directory
    • DNS/DHCP
    • TCP/IP
    • iPhone, iPad, and Android Support
  • Possess exceptional customer service skills, patience, well organized, and a good communicator.
  • Expertise incomputer software, hardware maintenance, and technical support.
  • Experience with repairing, diagnosing, and upgrading PC hardware and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Self-motivated witha highattention to detail.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to read and interpret communication styles of diverse team members who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
